Woodworking

Safety, along with proper use and care of equipment, come first in our woodworking shop. Using only hand tools, campers of all ages are aided in creating projects that combine their own creativity with the tool skills acquired through instruction. Starting at the first grade level, campers create using coping saws, hammers, metal files, hand drills and sandpaper. From whale paper holders, to sports team logos, to 3D animals, woodworking is a very busy activity here at FCDC.
